Tree Planting and Plant Health Care is our way of giving back to the
environment. It has been well documented in recent years what the
effects of deforestation is having on our planet. Here at L&M we are
well aware of these issues and take plant health VERY seriously. We
refrain from removing trees with minor defects or issues that could
otherwise be saved or retained in a different state.
Over the years
L&M has incurred a wealth of knowledge and case studies where we
have saved a clients favourite tree or maybe even a tree that
money will never replace. By calling us about your plant health
issues, you wont get an answer of 'i don't know' or 'just fell it', we
will get you the answers you need to make an educated decision
based on facts and experience.

Henbury Primary School - Apply mulch to root area of Beech tree to mitigate compaction damage when outdoor class room is being used.
The root zone of this tree had become heavily compacted because of the outdoor classroom underneath. heavy foot traffic un the root zone packs soil particles
together and decreases the amount of water and oxygen penetrating the soil. Applying a mulch layer decreases the impact of compaction and introduces nutrients
back into the soil that is made available for the roots.
